Neill Menneer (BA Hons) -
CEO & Chief Photographer
I have been a photographer all my life and was inspired primarily by the photography of Bill Brandt. After obtaining a degree in photography and winning the Observer Photographic competition I became a freelance photographer. For many years I worked In London for some of the top magazines and design agencies. I still have the same passion and interest in photography and love nothing more than capturing classic images of people in all their marvellous diversity. I was one of the pioneers of digital photography and still love to use technology creatively or finish images in a variety of styles. We moved into our beautiful new premises in 2007 and Team Spirit have created the perfect environment for the sole purpose of making special and unique images of people and families. Every aspect of the building including its three studios is dedicated to serving customer needs and comfort.

I came into the business in 2007. I don’t take photos, but I know a good image when I see one. I am an ex Norland nanny, so have masses of experience with little children and making them feel comfortable. Neill and I have two grown-up kids and we remember what it’s like during all those different stages (honestly they pass!). Photography is a very personal experience and we like to help our clients relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera as quickly as possible, whether they’re 2 or 82. I feel very lucky to work in such a positive environment with such an enthusiastic team and meeting so many nice people. My hobbies are chilling with our kids, walking Jaspa the dog, being healthy most of time and when I’m not-eating chocolate!
Jesse Loughborough -
Photographer & Production Manager
I love creating images that make people happy and as a father of twins I understand fully the importance of having photos that will be treasured forever. In fact, my twins are probably sick of being asked to pose for the camera! I have been with the company since 2002 and in my dual role as photographer and production manager I’m in the lucky position of working with people’s photos from shutter release to product completion.
Emilie Giotti -
Photographer & Assistant Studio Manager
I have two roles at Spirit Photographic as a photographer and on the customer service side, doing bookings and viewings. Working at Spirit, there is never a dull moment as the studio is always filled with laughter. You may get to hear my voice on the end of the phone, I’ll try and answer all your questions and help put you at ease. My passion is photography and to be able to shoot in one of the South West’s premier studio is an honour. In my spare time I do my own creative portraiture photography and always sourcing new ideas and interesting props. I love meeting new people and I’m good with kids as I’m a babysitter as well.

I am new to the Spirit Family and have never felt more welcome and part of a team than I do here. My time at the studio is split into two roles; hair and makeup artist, and admin. I love to transform our makeover clients to enhance their natural beauty and give them the confidence to be in front of the camera. I get to spend some time with the clients before they start with the photographer where we have a laugh and get to know one another. This is a relaxing time for clients, a chance to be pampered! It’s so much fun to meet women and girls of all ages, mums, daughters and sisters. There is always a fun and lively atmosphere in the studio which makes my job even better! I look forward to coming into work to spend time with talented individuals and help towards creating beautiful photos. I have only lived in Bath for a few months, so when I’m not working I love to explore this beautiful city and the surrounding countryside. I love putting my wellies on and going for walks in the fresh air. If it’s too wet and cold outside you can often find me relaxing with a good movie and a cheeky glass of wine!
The Studio Dog
I am 3 years old and love to have my belly tickled. When you arrive at the studio the grown-ups usually keep me away from you, which I find very frustrating. I have been rechristened Ninja dog as I have a really great ability to sneak past and jump on you on the sofa. So if you like to tickle tummies please make sure you stop them taking me away from you.
